Repeazy
Privacy Policy
Repeazy · Last updated: 8 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Repeazy ("we", "us") handles information when you play Repeazy (the "Game") — both the web game at repeazy.com and the Repeazy mobile app.
1. What we store on your device
Repeazy stores your progress, best level, power-ups, streak, achievements, and settings on your device — in your browser's local storage on the web, or in the app's local storage on mobile. This data stays on your device, is not an account, and is not sent to us. You can clear it any time with Reset progress in Settings, or by clearing the app's or browser's storage.
2. The global leaderboard (optional)
Posting a score to the global leaderboard is entirely optional — it only happens when you choose to submit. If you do, your entry is sent to and stored on our database provider (Supabase). What we store depends on where you play:
- Your display name and score (level reached) are shown publicly on the board. Use any name you like.
- In the mobile app: your name is tied to an anonymous device token we randomly generate on your device — not your email, not a sign-in — so that others can't post under your name. No email is collected in the app. If you turn on notifications, we also store an anonymous push token so we can send you a "someone beat your score" alert; you can turn these off any time in Settings or in your device's notification settings.
- On the web: you instead provide an email address to reserve your name. Your email is kept private — never shown publicly and not readable through our public interface. You may optionally tick "email me when someone beats my score"; only then will we email you (via our email provider Resend), always with a one-click unsubscribe. We send no other marketing and never share or sell your email.
Posting a score is not an account and requires no sign-in. To withdraw your entry (or your email), contact us (section 9) and we will remove it.
3. Information we do not collect
Aside from what you choose to submit to the leaderboard (section 2), we do not ask for a sign-in or collect other personal information to run the Game. We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, or microphone/camera data.
4. Advertising
Repeazy is free and supported by ads, served by Google:
- Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob in the mobile app. Ad networks may use cookies (web) or device / advertising identifiers (mobile) to measure and personalise ads. See Google's Ads Privacy.
- On iOS, personalised ads require your permission. Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you allow or decline tracking; if you decline, you'll still see ads, just non-personalised ones, and the game plays exactly the same.
- You can manage ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings (web) or in your device's privacy settings (mobile). Repeazy Plus / premium removes ads entirely.
5. Purchases
Buying the optional premium upgrade (Repeazy Plus, which removes ads) is handled by the platform's payment processor — we never receive or store your card details:
6. Third-party services
In addition to the ad and payment providers above, the Game uses the following, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — stores the global leaderboard entries you choose to submit. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- PostHog — anonymous product analytics so we can see how the game is used (which screens, how far people get) and improve it. Configured privacy-light: no account or personal information is sent. On the web we also record anonymous session replays with all form fields — including name and email — masked and never captured. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
- Expo — on mobile, delivers the optional "someone beat your score" push notifications (only if you enable them). See Expo's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — our email provider, used only if you opt in to leaderboard emails on the web (section 2). See Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — hosts the web game and provides privacy-friendly, aggregate Web Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
7. Children
Repeazy is a general-audience, family-friendly game and is not directed at children under 13. It is free to play with no personal information required. The mobile app collects no email at all. On the web, the only place we collect personal information is the optional leaderboard email (section 2), and you must be 13 or older to submit one — stated at the point of entry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has submitted an email, contact us (section 9) and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your choices
- Clear all local data with Reset progress, or via your app/browser storage.
- Choose not to post to the global leaderboard, or use any display name you like.
- Turn off "someone beat your score" notifications in Settings or your device settings (mobile).
- Manage ad personalisation via Google Ad Settings or your device's privacy settings (including iOS App Tracking Transparency).
- Repeazy Plus / premium removes ads entirely.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Continued play after an update means you accept it.
